You cannot hail or stop a Private Hire Vehicle in the street, these vehicles by law have to be pre-booked.

It’s absolutely essential to book well in advance for weekends and Bank Holidays.
So if your going to town, on holiday, or out for the office party remember pre-book your taxi home, be safe only use licensed vehicles you maybe asked for a deposit for journeys after 9pm.
